June Monthly Recap
The Highlights
Well, June was good to me. I created some core memories and reached incredible milestones! Here are some highlights:
- We celebrated my cousin’s 40th birthday with a memorable party! (And yes, we have a BIG family, so most of my cousins are much older than me). It was wonderful catching up with relatives I don’t see often, and we had an absolute blast!
- My mother, sister, and I had a trip to the mall for some shopping – all my winter clothes are in the USA and I needed to stock up, oops… Besides that, we had lunch at one of my favorite restaurants.
- Father’s Day was lovely. We had breakfast the day after the birthday party (I am officially a croissant and jam lover) and drove 4 hours back home.
- The blog was on fire! I met my end-of-year goals by June. It’s CRAZY.
- My newsletter got upgraded, again. I reached my maximum of 1000 emails per month! Therefore, I had to change from email providers. It took me 2 days BUT it’s a good problem to have.
- I am also getting used to typing with acrylics 😉 (iykyk).
I will not share the lowlights of June. There are some aspects of my life I want to keep private ♥.
What happened with my goals?
The wins + milestones
I know I said May was my best month by far… However, June came in clutch! As you might remember, I set my goals for June impossibly high and never expected to achieve them.
Here is a rundown of my goals vs the results for June:
- Pinterest Views
- The goal: 250 000 views
- The result: 290 928 views
- Pinterest Outbound Clicks
- The goal: 3500
- The result: 4769
- Blog pageviews
- The goal: 7500
- The result: 12 597
- Blog sessions
- The goal: 5000
- The result: 6545
And the craziest part of it all: I met my goals for 2024 by June! This is what I call a successful June monthly recap.
The Challenges
As always, some goals must be adjusted or migrated to the new month. Aka the challenges.
- I didn’t quite hit my newsletter subscriber goal of 300. However, I reached 272 and I am grateful for each one ♥.
- Ugh, I have not launched my Etsy shop yet 🤦🏻♀️. I can narrow it down to two reasons:
- It’s taking much longer to create high-quality products than I anticipated (also, I’m a perfectionist).
- I am procrastinating due to fear.
- My Notion template and Canva course are on the back burner at this moment.
Goal-Setting For July
While June did incredibly well with my absurd goals, I‘m a bit hesitant to push the limits that far again. That said, I’ve set new goals that are still challenging but a bit less crazy.
Here are July’s goals:
- Pinterest views: 380 000
- Pinterest outbound clicks: 6000
- Blog pageviews: 18 000
- Blog sessions: 9000
- Email subs: 300
- Launch Etsy
- Finish Notion
- Do Canva course
- Give my blog a fresh look – I already designed a new logo ♥
- Become more active on social media
- I am considering picking up guitar as a new hobby. We’ll see if that actually happens next month!

- Is my newsletter blurry? This has been an ongoing issue for me. I’m unsure whether the newsletters I design on Canva become blurry after I upload them to my mailing service. It’s a problem I need to address ASAP. Should I consider dropping the aesthetic designs and switching to sending plain text emails?
