Goodbye 2024 and hello 2025! I don’t know about you but I love it when my book of life turns to a blank page. There are so many expectations and opportunities lurking. But before we get to 2025 we need to close the 2024 chapter. So I welcome you to my December monthly recap!

December Monthly Recap
The Highlights
Oh my goodness! I have no idea where to start. December came and conquered!
Here are a couple of highlights:
- Friends getaway – We enjoyed a little bushveld break with friends in December. Talk about great memories and lots of Uno *lol*.
- Christmas getaway – We spent Christmas with the in-laws this year and it was so much fun! We played Phase 10 for hours and I saw Oryxes for the first time.
- New Year celebrations – Hubby and I had a quiet New Year’s Eve at home with the dogs (and wine).
- The blog did what!? – Now, I didn’t spend a lot of time working on my blog this December *oops*, however, I had my best month yet!

As I said, the blog was on fire in December! I was completely blown away. Take a look:
2024 Life Audit Summary
You can follow my entire life audit process here. A life audit is a great tool for reflecting on your life. It highlights your milestones and your shortages, which can help you plan your future accordingly.
- Wheel of life – My wheel of life scored a whopping 83.1% for 2024! That is considerably higher than the year before. You can find a full guide to the wheel of life here.
- Word for 2024 – Blessed ♥
- 2024 Goals – I achieved well over 80% of the goals set for the year.
The Goals For 2025
I absolutely adore setting AND chasing goals! So you can imagine that I go all in every year.

Here are my 2025 goals:
- Grow my blog to qualify for Mediavine i.e. 50k sessions per month, consistently
- Grow Pinterest to 2M impressions and 50k outbound clicks per month, consistently
- Increase my Etsy listings, traffic, conversion rate, and revenue. The goal is 2000 visits at a 2.5% conversion rate
- Make x amount of money per month via multiple streams of income
- Monetize YouTube – this is more of a side quest than a main goal
- Increase reach and following on social media. The goal is 5000 followers.
- Improve my overall health i.e. go for a check-up, weigh x kilograms, get up at 7 am, journal regularly, etc
- Improve my relationship with God. I also want to finish the Old Testament this year
- Read 30 books in 2025
- Live with my husband in South Africa permanently – this is my biggest goal for 2025
People may ask. “Why does she always share her goals and monthly recaps?” Well, I have a one-word answer – accountability. I go public with my goals because it motivates me to keep going.
