My March monthly recap filled with self-reflection on the past month. Tracking my goals and setting new goals.

March Monthly Recap: Unofficial Announcements And Goodbyes

I swear, March has been a blur. My March monthly recap is here, and it is filled with a generous amount of laughter and an even more generous amount of tears.

This is a series on my blog where I give a little peek into the life of the person behind the blog (that’s me btw). See it as my not-so-secret-diary. You can check out my February monthly recap here.

Let’s dive into the blurry month of laughter and tears.

My March Diary Entry

The Highlights

Full transparency: I contemplated skipping this month’s entry. Purely because 84.98% was a shitshow lol

HOWEVER, if there is one thing I learned, it is to always look for the rainbow in the middle of a storm. So, as always, let’s start with the highlights.

  • Sunflower Festival – My husband and I were invited by friends to join them for the Sunflower Music Festival. It gave Coachella, in a very South African way! I got to meet Loufi (an Afrikaans rapper) and see Early B and Elandre preform, so that was pretty much my highlight of the month.
  • I am now an avid reader – Do you guys remember how I always complained about wanting to read more but never actually did it? Well, guess who read 4 books in the month of March? 😏.
  • Bangs? Who tis’? – Omw, I chopped my hair off, got bangs, and I am obsessed. Yes, I am experiencing another quarter-life crisis iykyk.

The Challenges

March really said anxiety. It was like that viral song by Doechii latched onto my life lol.

So, here’s the thing. My husband went back to America. He works there on an H2A visa for 8 to 9 months of the year. So, *cue sadness*, I will only be seeing him again in November.

In the midst of all the anxiety, tears, and loathing, I kinda messed up with my blog this month. I am speaking a full 3 blog posts, no new Etsy products, and shattering statistics…

Anyway, here is to a better April!

My Favorites

I am so over the challenges, so let’s move on to my favorites for this March monthly recap. Just for a bit of fun!

My Not-So-Official Announcement

Okay, okay, okay. I need you guys to not put a timeline on this because I am stressed and excited.

I am planning on writing a book. A fictional book. I’m not giving away too much, but it involves a grumpy ‘who-hurt-you’ ex-rodeo cowboy and a spoiled city girl who is  volunteering on a ranch in the Outback, Australia…

I don’t know the first thing about writing books, but I’ll keep you posted! Also, do you like the premise? Have I mentioned, I’m stressed?
