31 End of Year Journal Prompts for Reflection and Growth

December is coming (pun intended). It is time to reflect on 2023 and prepare for a new kick-ass year! Thus (in my most Bridgerton-like accent) I give you 31 end of year journal prompts for reflection and growth.

This is by far my favorite time of year. It is not only the Christmas season, it is also the season of hope. A new year always has that effect on me.

I get excited about new beginnings: a new year, a better me. We reflect on our lives and that is where growth happens. When we take a step back, we can see our highs and lows’ impact on our lives. We can assess where to improve and learn to be more grateful for our delicate lives.

31 Days of December: The Challenge

Not only are these journal prompts, but it is also a challenge I am extremely excited about!

For 31 days there will be end of year journal prompts you can answer in your journal. I attached a *FREE DOWNLOADABLE/PRINTABLE* in this article for you to look back at.

The idea is that you will grow and prepare for the greatness 2024 will bring.

I will also try my best to put out reels related to this challenge on Instagram in December. So hit a follow to see if I actually do it, because Instagram and me… We struggle (spoiler alert: I failed).

And here is the added bonus!

Throughout these 31 days, I will occasionally refer you to posts that will help you grow and reflect even more!

Okay, that might not be so exciting… The point is, I will be posting A LOT of content regarding preparation for 2024 such as life audits, goal lists, etc. So stick around if you want ;-).

31 End of Year Journal Prompts for Reflection and Growth

Day 2: What is the biggest lesson you have learned this year?

Day 3: What was your favorite TV show, movie, song, and book of 2023?

Day 4: Describe 2 core memories you made.

Day 5: Do you have any regrets? (a nugget of wisdom for the day: regrets aren’t necessarily bad if you use them as a tool for motivation).

Day 6: How does your life compare to your 2023 vision board? (I have a vision board series planned for this year. I will link it once it is launched).
