8 Essential Things To Do Before Bed

1. Bible time to feed your soul

If you can spend countless hours scrolling through TikTok before bed, you can take 5 minutes to read a passage from the Bible. Feed your soul before going to sleep.

2. Pray it out

There is no better gratitude practice than spending time in prayer. Thank Him for giving you another day and pray for his protection the next day. 

There are only 2 people who you spend every second of your life with – yourself and the Lord. Make these relationships a priority.

3. Wash the day away

Where I live, I take evening showers, while in the USA, I took morning showers. Don’t ask me to make it make sense, lol.

Indulge in some self-care while you’re at it with a facemask or a candlelit bubble bath! There’s always time for mini self-care activities.

4. Skincare serenity for a fresh face

Skincare is essential – I will die on this hill, lol

It doesn’t need to be extravagant or expensive. Here are the products I use during my evening skincare routine:

Sometimes I spend an embarrassing amount of time figuring out what to wear. Can you relate?

Well, then it’s a good idea to lay out your outfit for the day the night before. It can save you a lot of time in the morning.

6. Revisit and revise your schedule

A productive day starts the night before.

Check your schedule and have a clear to-do list for the next day. You will feel mentally prepared and more organized.

7. Clear your space

Take 5 minutes to tidy up your space. It is much nicer to wake up to a clutter-free space than to spend 10 minutes searching for your keys.

It’s no secret that I am not a cleaning fanatic but this is definitely a time-saving hack!

8. Clear your mind

I really want to make journaling before bed a habit! Clear your mind and start tomorrow with a fresh slate.
