10 Mindful November Goal Ideas To Connect And Prepare

1. Start a gratitude journal

Kick November off by creating the habit of daily gratitude journaling. Take 3 minutes each day and jot down 3 things you are grateful for. It doesn’t have to be big things – a warm cup of coffee, a comfy sweater, or cuddles with your pet counts!

2. Finish Christmas shopping

I want to finish my Christmas shopping in November this year. It will save so much time and money! Not only will you avoid shops during the silly season but you can also take advantage of Black Friday prices.

3. Create a November reading list

Compile a list of feel-good cozy books to indulge this month. Or opt for self-improvement books in preparation for 2025. I want to finish “Paradys” by Leon van Nierop and “The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F*ck” by Mark Manson.

4. Make and send out Thanksgiving cards

Spread warmth and kindness this month by sending out Thanksgiving cards with personalized messages to your loved ones. This thoughtful gesture will definitely put a smile on their faces.

5. 13 November - World Kindness Day

Another great November goal idea is to incorporate World Kindness Day into your calendar. I’d be honest, I didn’t know this was a thing but I am definitely going to do something on the 13th of November to spread kindness.

6. Finalize all your appointments before the silly season

I don’t know if it’s just me but I already have my nails, eyebrow, and hair appointments booked and finalized to be holiday-ready! If you wait too long you might not get an appointment.

7. Host a themed Friendsgiving party

I am not American but I was fortunate enough to celebrate Thanksgiving once while I lived there and I really loved it! Organize a small get-together with friends to celebrate gratitude before Thanksgiving. It can be potluck-styled, themed, or a simple coffee gathering.

8. Declutter and donate

Organize your closet and donate a pile of your clothes to those in need. With winter approaching, many people are in need of blankets, warm clothes, and other essentials. Instead of tossing unwanted items in the bin, consider that they could be a saving grace to someone else.

9. Enjoy a self-care retreat before the busy holiday season

The holiday season can be overwhelming sometimes. Recharge your soul before the craziness is upon you. It can be as simple as an evening self-care routine or more extravagant like a spa day.

10. Start preparing for 2025

Make it your November goal to start prepping for the new year. There are many things you need to do before 2025 (read more here) such as creating your vision board and doing your annual life audit

Conclusion

Set intentions this month to prioritize kindness and gratitude. Like I always say, “You can be the start of a ripple effect”. So why not embrace that mindset this November?
