My February monthly recap is here, and if I had to describe it in one word: cozy. Let’s dive into the highlights and challenges that came with the month of love.

February did not shy away from challenges, however, it gave off cozy vibes. Let’s dive in.

My February Monthly Recap
The Highlights
Let’s start with the highlights that came with this month:
- Anniversary month: My husband and I celebrated our third anniversary! I cannot believe three years have passed since I made the best decision of my life. We celebrated it with a casual pizza night at home while binging a series.
- I actually read books: I know, shocker! If you’ve been around for a while you know I’ve wanted to get into reading for months but never did. Well, that changed! I read 2 books this month. Who knows, maybe I’ll accomplish my 30-book goal by the end of the year. And yes, I know it’s bonkers lol.
- Blog milestone: I had the opportunity to collab with another amazing blogger, Life by Deanna, and swap blog posts. Check out her post here, 8 Organization Hacks To Try For A Spring Reset, and mine here, 18 Ways To Romanticize Your Life This Spring.
The Challenges
I debated whether to include this section. However, I see it as fitting to share a lesson. February was a test, to say the least.
I suspected my blog statistics would decline significantly after the New Year rush when everyone is setting goals and creating vision boards, given that’s my main topic. I was prepared for it but that didn’t make it feel any less sucky.
Other than that, my Mediavine application was declined and I still don’t fully understand why. Mediavine is an alternative to Google AdSense but they offer a higher RPM. As someone who depends solely on my blog and Etsy shop for my personal income, it really stung.
The fall from my December and January high came crashing down. Nonetheless, it won’t affect my spirit and determination to work hard for what I want out of life.
My point is that life is fluctuous (is that even a word…). You will experience ups and downs but what matters is retaining your discipline and determination through it all. Never let a minor setback dim your light and your dreams. Keep pushing.
My Favorites
Now that the heavy part is over, let’s lighten the mood!
I’ve never mentioned this on my blog, but I am a movie fanatic! I don’t watch many movies but I love the cinematics and directing aspect of films. I will always comment if I see a great shot or directing decision. This is why I want to include my favorites and current entertainment in my future monthly recaps, just for a bit of fun.

The February Goals Recap
February was a rocky month for goals. You’ll see what I mean.
The Goals For March
I significantly lowered March’s goals to create a new base to work from. I am determined to chase these numbers with everything I have. Like I said, grit and discipline.
The goals are:
- 600 000 Pinterest views
- 9000 Pinterest outbound clicks
- 20 000 Pageviews
- 12 000 Blog sessions
- 777 Newsletter subs
- 12 Etsy sales
- Weigh x kg
- Cut my hair – I am contemplating bangs
- Read 3 books
