1. Find images
Firstly, you’ll want to get images for your board. You can find pictures anywhere; however, I recommend Pinterest.
All you need to do is search for your goals in the Pinterest search bar. Here are some examples of searches:
Traveling in an airplane
Aesthetic exercise
Healthy foods
Skincare flatlay
Entrepreneur aesthetic
Fashion goals *insert style*
Extra tip: Add all the images you find to a Pinterest board titled “Vision Board 2024”. You can download all the pictures from there onto your phone or PC. Make sure you know to which folder you download it.
To download on Pinterest, you simply need to click the three dots and hit download.
2. Open Canva
You can use the app or your computer. I find the PC to be a much easier option to navigate.
If you do not have a Canva account, click here to create one. It is very straightforward and free.
3. New Design
Click the “new design” button in the top right corner. There will be plenty of suggestions as well as a custom size option.
Decide on the size you want your design to be. The easiest way to do this is to determine where you want to keep your digital vision board. I recommend the following:
If you prefer your board on your phone home screen:
Search IOS home screen, or
Search your phone screen dimensions on Google in pixels, inches, cm, or mm. Use it to create a custom design size.
Search “desktop wallpaper” if you want to use the design on your PC.
Choose something entirely different, such as a poster, A4 paper, etc.
Want an easier way? Search for “vision board” on the Canva home screen. It will take you to a bunch of different templates to use. You only need to customize them.

4. Upload the pictures
Upload all the pictures you downloaded from Pinterest.
Once you open your new design, click “Uploads” followed by “Upload Files”. Now, navigate to the folder you downloaded the pictures and press Open.
Combine all the pictures onto your blank page. I prefer mine in the form of a collage, as shown below.
As I said, you can use a template to make the process quicker. The template I designed for you works on a “grid frame” system. You only need to drag your pictures into the frames and readjust them if necessary. To adjust the image, simply double-click it in the frame and drag it to the desired position.
Do you want to spice up your design? Vision boards do not need to be limited to pictures. Find extra tips and ideas here.
6. Download the vision board
Click “Share” to download your design to the desired folder. Choose the file type. I recommend PNG. Then hit download.
Set your digital vision board as your desktop or phone background. In my case, I have it on both.
Take a moment and enjoy the masterpiece of your dreams.
